1. Who is Ewards?
Ewards is a brand of Gift Bucks (Pty) Ltd which is a trusted online business that has been supplying prepaid MasterCards as gift cards for public consumers and companies alike, for the last 18 years. Ewards focuses on the procurement and supply of retail brand’s online vouchers for public consumers and corporate customers.

2. Where can I buy a retail voucher using the Ewards service?
Anyone with a valid credit card and some designated debit cards (see website) can buy from a range of retail vouchers directly off our website on www.ewards.co.za and www.giftcardsandviouchers.co.za.

3. Why should I buy vouchers from your website when I can buy them directly off the retail store’s website?
Because it is much easier buying from our website, where you can choose from a wide range of different types of store vouchers, to suit your different needs for family and friends celebration occasions, or for colleagues at work for their achievements. And you don’t have to register on the stores that require it, nor do you need to struggle to understand where to click next on each store’s recipient details and payment processing blocks. Plus you can email us or phone us during office hours Monday to Friday – weekends and public holidays excluded.

4. How does the Ewards voucher buying process work?
It’s so easy. Click on the category of the item you want, then click on the brand and follow the prompts. Don’t forget to include your phone number and email address, PLUS both the phone number and email address of your recipient – many brand’s websites require both in order for the voucher/s to be sent.

5. Can I buy different brands in one order?
Yes you can. Simply click on the ones you want, and their values, and place them in your Basket.

6. What if I need to buy many vouchers for a company?
For corporate / company orders of any quantity, or for personal orders requiring several vouchers of different Rand value denominations, simply email your request to info@giftbucks.co.za for a quotation, or phone our office for information on 011 463 0759 during office hours Monday to Friday – weekends and public holidays excluded.

7. Why is it easier for companies to buy from our website?
Because companies of any size can buy any quantity of vouchers, and various types of different vouchers, to suit their staff’s needs without needing to ask their finance department for the company credit card, or waste time looking for parking and standing in shopping centre queues, then risk carrying them from the store back to their office, then collating them, packing them, despatching them and following up on staff’s or dealer’s / customer’s queries about their vouchers. For instance, vouchers are widely used as incentives to motivate, to engage with, and to reward staff, for any kind of reason that a company may have eg long service awards, annual / year end awards, teams and interbranch campaigns, customer appreciations, birthday and anniversary celebrations, CSR corporate responsibility programmes, competitions, conferences and other events.

8. Can companies get assistance with sending out vouchers or gift cards on their campaigns e.g. send them as an attachment to a personalised email, add a logo, send them at certain times etc? Yes, please contact us for assistance.

9. How quickly will I receive my voucher?
The retail vouchers available on Ewards are currently not instant. They are sent to your mobile phone or email address, generally on the same day as your order. Sometimes, they may be delayed by 24 hours due to circumstances beyond our control.

10. Can I choose to receive it either by SMS or by Email?
The brand of voucher you choose dictates how it is sent to you. Most are by Email only, some are by SMS only, some give you a choice of both, and some insist on sending you both. Please read the details carefully before you select your voucher.

11. Can I add a message to my voucher?
Yes you can, provided your voucher is being sent by Email. Vouchers sent by SMS cannot accept any messages at all. Please remember to keep your messages as short as possible, or else they will be cut off, or shortened. Most message blocks can take 250 characters, but some are shorter, and some are up to 500 characters. They don’t always line up like you would like them to. Most message blocks indicate the number of characters in the corner.

12. Is my money safe with you?
Yes for sure. We have been in business for over 25 years and specifically providing gift cards and vouchers to consumers and companies for 18 years. Our website is HTTPS secure, which means the data transmitted is encrypted between the browser and the website, which also ensures that sensitive details such as passwords, credit card details and personal details are protected from tampering and interception.

13. Can I get a refund?
In all cases – ie all brands terms and conditions – digital vouchers cannot be refunded. That’s because they are sent to third party devices so cannot be retrieved back from them. So please check, and check again, that the email address or the mobile phone number you are sending to is correct.
